Proa’s MetLite is a compact, efficient weather station designed specifically for applications such as Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects. Its streamlined design enables quick and easy installation, making it ideal for sites where accessibility is limited—such as rooftops. Despite its simplicity, the MetLite integrates Proa’s proprietary MetProtect automatic cleaning system, which minimizes the need for on-site maintenance. Pyranometers are automatically cleaned daily using demineralized water during off-sunlight hours, ensuring high-quality data without manual intervention and maintaining optimal performance over time.​

Automated Cleaning
The self-cleaning system is activated daily (between sunset and sunrise) using high pressure demineralized water to wash the domes of the instruments.
Wildlife Radar
The wildlife deterrent system works 24/7 detecting any bird or other kind of wildlife within 5 meters from the instruments, and in case of detection, mechanical arms are triggered.
Data Logger
Collection of data at a sampling rate of 1Hz, as per IEC 61724-1:2021 standards for photovoltaic systems.
